Business as unusual

I went out for beers last night at a local izakaya, the Japanese drinking den.

During that time there were two shakers - the old guys laughed at us through their perms, bad dye-jobs, cigarettes and Shochu as we shifted nervously and made noises of anticipation.

Things are continuing as usual but not as usual.

The city of course still functions.
