Enjoy the Silence
While I was away, we celebrated my Mum and Dad's 40th wedding anniversary.
I had no doubt that I wanted to buy them a photoshoot.
I researched and then the Universe sent me a gift by way of a Facebook message from an old friend of the family who is starting out in his own photography business.
He's a great guy who I've known since he was a baby and I knew he was just the person to relax my family and even make them have fun with photos.
Here are the results. I love them and I hope you enjoy all 90+ of them! They are all shot near my house, about 4 miles from Liverpool on the other side of the river Mersey. In these pictures you can see the docks on teh other side of the water, the fort perch rock, a fort built to keep some invadors or other out in some war or other, I forget which one.
And the sandstone. There are tunnels from the smuggling days that run all along the front near my house. They are bloody fascinating and there are entrances in some of the gardens that overlook the Irish Sea. I have been down them perhaps 23 years ago, but am not sure if you can go down them anymore.
Anyway, here are the photos:

And here is Depeche Mode:
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and dedicated to someone who taught me a lot and with whom, many years ago I embodied this song.
